I can't believe thier are sooo many Americans that favour the war? For crying out loud War is Bad! There are NO WINNERS - Only losers.

In this case, more civilians will die within the Iraq-USA war then Saddam has killed during his regime.

CNN is propaganda. Every 5 mins they interview Generals, then every 10 mins they show you polls supporting the war etc.

Don't get me wrong - Saddam is an evil person! But this war shouldn't have happened.

For every person (child, brother, sister, father, mother) who dies in this war will cause a family member to hate the USA.

Honestly, do you Americans realize there are so many countries who oppose your decisions toward this war?

This is an American warfare!

Luckily for USA there was NEVER a war in your homeland.

How can you liberate a country when your family members are killed? Ask yourself this, is it worth your freedom when your parents, brothers, sisters, etc have to lose this lives and your home/buildings are destroyed?

Its very sad to see that soooo many Americans support Bush's decision - especially in this forum alone.

According to CNN and other American propaganda networks - One American Prisoner of War is worth more then 10 Iraqi casualties.

USA has no 'real' friends...and thats the truth....Britain is helping USA because of the previous 2 world wars....however, other then that, USA have no 'real' friends

 

What CNN and other American networks don't show you. CBC and some CAD tv shows show the other side of the story. Remember there are always 2 sides for a story. Saddam is an evil person - but was this war necessary?

Is this a form of liberating a country?

Why does CNN not show you these pictures nor video clips but do show you eveyrthing Pro-USA for the war?

You have a point to a degree about there being no winners in war. But right now I have two good friends over there in Iraq, no family thank God this time, but this war is JUST for no other reason than to remove Saddam from power. The only way the USA lose's this war is if our troops come back home with Saddam or one of his sons still in power! The US has already tried to take the sit back & let the world do it's thing approach in both world wars. That theory doesn't wash! Diplomacy has a limit, then you must take action, which is what you see before you in Iraq!

Want this war? Not really, but, i do support it.

I think it was inevitable, and necessary.

Doesn't mean anything here though, i respect everyones opinion on the matter.

I just don't care much for the shock attempts with photos. Especially under these circumstances. We don't know the truth behind those, or 90% of the things we will see in this or any war Ivan, we just hear things, and have to choose what we do and don't believe.

Doesn't really bother me though either way, was just giving my 2 cents.

Hopefully, if and when something happens, and Canada comes to the US for help, i will feel the same way.
